Welcome, and thank you for considering Tinantra LLC ("Tinantra," "we," "us," "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the tinantra.com website, booking forms, client portal, and cleaning services we provide in the state of North Carolina.
By submitting a booking request, using our website, or accessing the client portal, you ("you," "your," "client") agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
1. Services & scope
We provide residential cleaning, deep cleaning, move-in/out cleaning, short-term rental turnovers, and commercial/medical/industrial/education/retail/government/multi-unit housing janitorial services at locations within our North Carolina service area. The specific scope for each visit — rooms, add-ons, square footage, and special requests — is the scope confirmed in writing (by email, booking confirmation, or signed proposal) before the first visit.
Online instant-quote calculators provide an estimate only. The binding quote is the one confirmed by our team before service.
2. Booking & scheduling
- A booking is "Requested" when submitted online, and "Confirmed" once we contact you by phone/email and lock in a date, time, and crew.
- For recurring services (weekly, biweekly, monthly) the initial schedule and any changes are confirmed in writing each time so there is no ambiguity on your calendar and ours.
- You agree to provide accurate access information (address, gate codes, lockbox codes, alarm instructions, pet notes) ahead of the visit. Failure to do so may result in a lockout fee (see Section 4).
3. Pricing, quotes, & payment
- Pricing is based on the service type, property size, frequency, and add-ons. Any price range or instant estimate shown online is non-binding and illustrative.
- Phase 1 — no payment is collected online through the booking flow or portal. After service is complete, our billing team follows up per the method agreed (phone, invoice link, Zelle, ACH, or card processing by phone).
- Payment is due within 48 hours of service completion for one-time visits, and per your contract terms for commercial accounts (typically Net 15 or Net 30).
- Unpaid balances may accrue a late fee of 1.5% per month (or the maximum allowed by NC law, whichever is lower) and may result in suspension of recurring services until brought current.
- Sales tax: prices do not include sales tax; if applicable, tax will be itemized on your invoice based on the locality of service.
4. Cancellation, rescheduling, & lockouts
- 24-hour window. You may cancel or reschedule any visit up to 24 hours before the scheduled start time at no charge.
- Late cancellation (less than 24 hours). Subject to a $40 cancellation/rescheduling fee to compensate the scheduled crew for reserved time.
- Lockouts / no access. If our team cannot gain entry at the scheduled window and you are unreachable, a lockout fee equal to 50% of the quoted visit applies.
- Extreme weather, unsafe conditions, or emergency situations on either side are exempt and will be rescheduled without charge at mutual convenience.
5. The 24-hour Make-It-Right guarantee
Our promise: if any area covered by the agreed scope is not cleaned to the standard we committed to, we will return within 24 hours of your report and re-clean those specific areas at no additional charge.
- To use the guarantee, notify us by phone, email, or portal message within 24 hours of the visit.
- Please specify the areas of concern; we address exactly those within the original scope. Items outside the original booking scope (e.g., inside oven on a standard clean) are not covered.
- If a second re-clean is still unsatisfactory on the agreed scope, we will refund the portion of the invoice related to those areas.
6. Client responsibilities
- Provide a safe environment for our staff: working utilities, no exposed hazards, secured aggressive pets or pets removed per pre-visit notes.
- Declutter surfaces you expect us to clean if you want a thorough result (we will clean around large furniture but not move heavy or fragile items unless explicitly agreed).
- Inform us of any fragile, irreplaceable, or high-value items before the visit so we can exercise additional care or skip at your instruction.
- Adults 18+ or prior arrangements must be present for first visits on residential accounts unless you authorize and instruct us for crew entry.
7. Insurance, bonding, & liability
Tinantra carries general liability, workers' compensation, and a dishonesty/bonding policy for the benefit of clients, with limits available on request via certificate of insurance (COI).
To the maximum extent permitted by North Carolina law, Tinantra's aggregate liability for any claim related to a visit is capped at the fees paid by the client for that specific visit. Tinantra is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.
We report any accidental breakage or damage caused by our staff promptly; any damage claim should be reported within 48 hours along with photos and receipts for our insurer.
8. Staff conduct & background checks
All cleaning staff undergo a multi-state criminal background check, ID verification, and reference checks before working in client spaces. Staff are uniformed, wear ID badges when requested, and are supervised by lead techs. Any staff misconduct is to be reported immediately; we investigate and take appropriate action, including termination and cooperation with law enforcement when warranted.
9. Client portal & accounts
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your portal login credentials and for all activity under your account.
- You agree not to share, misuse, reverse-engineer, or attempt to bypass security on the portal.
- We may suspend or terminate your access at any time if we suspect fraud, abuse, or a violation of these Terms.
10. Intellectual property
All content on tinantra.com — text, imagery, logos, our brand name Tinantra, booking-flow UX, and copy — is owned by Tinantra LLC or licensed for use. You may not republish, scrape, reproduce, or redistribute our content for commercial purposes without prior written consent.
11. Dispute resolution & governing law
- These Terms, and any dispute arising out of or relating to them or the services, are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, excluding its conflict-of-laws principles.
- Venue for any court action lies exclusively in the county of New Hanover County, NC or, at our option, the county where the services were performed.
- Before filing formal action, you agree to first attempt resolution informally by contacting hello@tinantra.com and giving us 30 calendar days to respond and attempt a fair settlement.
- If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, that provision will be severed and the rest of the Terms remain in full effect.
12. Independent contractor vs. employment relationship
Nothing in these Terms creates any partnership, joint venture, or employment relationship between you and Tinantra or between you and any Tinantra staff member. We are an independent cleaning-services vendor.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may amend these Terms from time to time. We will post the current version on this page with a new "Last updated" date and notify active clients of material changes via email or portal notification. Your continued use of services after the effective date of the updated Terms constitutes acceptance.
14. Severability & entire agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any written booking confirmation or signed commercial proposal, constitute the entire agreement between you and Tinantra for the services. Any additional or different terms on a client's purchase order or other document are not binding unless signed in writing by both parties.
